What is HookCrux?
HookCrux is derived from “Horcrux”, a powerful object in which a Dark wizard or witch has hidden a fragment of his or her soul for the purpose of attaining immortality. I like to think that with every product I make, a fragment of my soul weaves its way into the stitching.
I may not have a wand, but with my hook, I can produce magic.
So you make things?
Yes, I make many different crocheted items. Blankets, scarves, geeky apparel and many other things. You can see most of my creations just by scrolling through the site, but I can make anything that you pay me to.
Do you sell your creations?
Of course! I take on commissions whenever I have the time to do so. You can see if I am taking on new orders by looking for the “Open for Commissions” posting on the website or Facebook. If I have any other items fully created and in stock, those will be posted for sale on this site and on Facebook.
How does submitting a request for a Commission work?
To submit a request for a commissioned piece, please keep an eye out for our “Open for Commissions” notices. Available slots are limited due to the amount of time it takes to complete some larger projects so be sure to get your entries in early as commissions are chosen on a first come-first serve basis.
Submit a request using our Contact page/email/Facebook page. Be sure to include as much information as possible when submitting your request. All requests will be answered even if they are not chosen for that particular wave of commissions.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal and Email Money Transfer and can do cash/cheque if you are local to London, Ontario.
Have a question that isn’t answered here? Feel free to drop me a line and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
